1 stick butter, room temperature
1 brick (8 oz) cream cheese, room temperature
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
The dough will need to chill for at least 2 hours.
To make the dough:
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Then slowly beat in the cake mix.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours so that the dough will be firm enough to roll into a ball.
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Once chilled, roll the dough into tablespoon sized balls (ping pong ball sized) and then roll in the powdered sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes.
Once cookies have completely cooled, dust with more powdered sugar.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I've made these cookies using a chocolate, lemon, or red velvet cake mix and they have all turned out great. I think just about any flavor would work.
