½ c. unsalted butter
½ c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 egg
2½ c. flour
½ t. baking soda
¾ t. salt
2 T. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add vanilla and egg. Stir in flour, soda, and salt. Add milk. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake at 400º about 12 minutes.
