1 cup butter
2 Tbsp water
3/4 cup nuts (pecans or slivered almonds)
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp corn syrup
chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, water, sugar and corn syrup in pot and cook on stovetop, stirring constantly.

Using a candy thermometer, cook fast until it reaches 290 degrees.

Add nuts, stir, then remove from heat and pour onto a buttered cookie sheet.

Spread toffee out, then sprinkle with chocolate chips while still hot, and spread across the top as they melt.
