2 ¼ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup shortening (or combination of butter/shortening)
¼ cup white sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
1 (4 oz) pkg instant vanilla pudding
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1-2 cups chocolate chips (per preference)

Directions:

Mix flour with soda. Cream shortening, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 deg for 8-10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet onto paper towel to cool.
