Blueberry Crisp, (or Apple) Recipe

3-4 cups fresh blueberries, (or 4 cups tart apples, pared, cored and sliced thin)
2 TBSP lemon juice
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 quart vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Grease a 9" round or square baking dish. Mix the lemon juice with the blueberries or prepared apples and pour into the bottom of the dish. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Work it with a pastry blender or with fingertips. The mixture should be crumbly. Spread over the fruit. Bake about 30 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Can also make this with sliced peaches in season!
