4 eggs
¾ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup apricot nectar, (small can)
3 tsp. pure almond extract
1 package Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 lemon, (juice and rind)
a little butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, oil, apricot nectar, and almond extract into cake mix with electric mixer for 3 minutes or by hand for 300 strokes. Pour into lightly greased and floured tube pan, (angel food cake pan). Bake in a 350º preheated oven for 45-50 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Mix together powdered sugar, lemon juice and zest. Remove cake from pan and, while still warm, poke holes around top with a skewer. Drizzle icing over top.
