1 C Soft butter
2 Tsp vanilla
1 C chopped nuts, optional
1/2 C powdered sugar
2 C Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour and chopped nuts, blend. Chill dough until easy to handle. Shape in 1" balls. Bake at 325º for about 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.

Aunty Kay is the youngest of the three Krause girls, my mother being the oldest. She used to like to make fancy decorations and lots of interesting treats for holiday get togethers. These cookies were a few of what she made for Christmas.
