¾ cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
½ cup molasses
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Cream the butter and sugar well. Beat in egg. Stir in molasses.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture.
Shape the dough into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
