2¼ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened (Secret #1: Use Crisco instead)
¾ c. granulated sugar
¾ c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs (Secret #2: Add a third egg if medium-sized)
2 c. (12 oz) Toll House Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 tsp. water (Secret #3)
Directions:
Directions:
Secret #4: Combine the sugars, eggs, Crisco, vanilla, and water and beat until the sugars are dissolved and the mixture is almost white.

Add flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir in chips. Drop rounded teaspoons of dough on greased baking sheets.

Bake at 375º until the cookies are lightly golden.
