1½ cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
⅓ tsp salt
3¼ cup flour (or more)
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp grated rind
1 tsp vanilla

Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 TBSP butter
1 tsp grated orange rind
3 TBSP orange juice
1 TBSP lemon juice
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and ½ cup of the sugar. Mix well and add rest of ingredients gradually. Bake in moderate oven until golden.
