1 package yellow cake mix, (or lemon)
1 egg
1 stick butter, melted

8 oz. package cream cheese softened
2 eggs
1 TBSP vanilla extract, (or lemon extract)
1 pound box confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
For Lemon Squares, use the lemon options.
Mix first three ingredients and pat into 9X13" pan.
Mix last four ingredients, (reserving some powdered sugar) and pour over mixture.
Bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Let cool a bit before sprinkling with some powdered sugar. Cool completely and cut into squares.

Grampa used to make these with the vanilla option or the lemon style. But Beebee has made the lemon version famous because she brings them EVERYWHERE! The family loves them.
