2 (8 oz.) packages - cream cheese
2 c - shortening (1 c. butter and 1 c. Crisco)
4 c. - sifted flour



powdered sugar
walnuts
maraschino cherries
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cream cheese and shortening together. and then mix in flour.

Chill for several hours or overnight..

Preheat oven to 375º F. on Roll out 1/8 inch thick on cloth or board that is generously sprinkled with powdered sugar. Dough will absorb about a cup.

Cut into bars 1' x 3".
Place walnuts or maraschino cherries.
Roll up and fold, place seam folded down on baking pan.

Bake for 12 - 15 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
