Grandma Lucy's Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
2 packages yeast
7 to 8 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
butter cut in chunks
2 T ground cinnamon
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Warm milk to 115º. Add the milk, 1 T sugar and yeast to the bowl of your mixer and let sit for 5 minutes until it begins to foam.

Using the hook attachment to your mixer add in the flour, salt and the remaining sugar and mix on high until combined.

Add in 1 egg at a time while mixing and then the melted butter and knead on high for 5 minutes.

Transfer the dough to a bowl and cover with a towel and let rise for approximately 1 hour.

Roll out the dough on a surface dusted with flour and then evenly spread on the butter chunks, cinnamon and brown sugar mixture and roll up.

Slice and put in pan and cover. Let rise for approximately another hour.

Bake the cinnamon rolls at 350º for about 25 minutes.

Ice the cinnamon rolls.
