1 tablespoon butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
1 cup of pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and brown sugar; add syrup, well-beaten eggs, salt and vanilla. When well-beaten, add pecans and turn into a nine-inch pastry lined pie pan. Bake in a moderate oven 350º about 1 hour until set.

This is Bebe's recipe and not the one I use that comes directly from the Karo syrup bottle. Pecan pie is one of John's favorites and we almost always have it for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
