2 cups sugar
6 T flour (self-rising)
1 can evaporated milk
3-4 egg yolk
2 cups water
Margarine
Food coloring (optional)
Nilla wafers
Bananas (sliced)
Vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour into sugar and mix.
Add 1 cup milk to mixture and mix
Add egg yolks, then add rest of milk. Stir
Add water and a dab of margarine
Start over high heat, continually lowering heat and whisking mixture as it thickens (about 10 minutes)
You can add drop of food coloring to make it yellow if desired
Layering: Wafers, bananas, pudding. Top with wafers
