3 ½ c. flour
1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. vegetable oil (I used canola oil)
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. coconut flakes
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream margarine and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add egg and blend. Add vegetable oil stirring until well blended. Add oats,
cornflakes, coconut, and nuts. Stir until mixed well. Add flour, soda, salt
and vanilla. Mix well.

Form into balls the size of a walnut. Place on an UNGREASED baking
sheet and flatten with a fork dipped in water. Bake for 12 minutes. Allow to
cool before removing from pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
