Melt:
1 cup + 2 tbs butter or oleo
6 tbs cocoa or more
Add and beat thoroughly:
2 1/4 cup sugar
5 eggs - beaten
2 tsp vanilla
Sift together:
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Add flour mixture to other ingredients and beat until smooth. Fold in 1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Pour into ungreased 15x10x1 pan. Bake 30-35 minutes moderate oven 350º. Cool slightly and cut into squares. The brownies have a shiny surface and fudgelike center.
