1 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
1 tbs cocoa
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 cup cold water
1 cup chocolate chips (or more)
2 cups chopped walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Mix in cocoa, eggs, vanilla and salt. Dissolve soda in water. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time, along with some of soda water and mix together. Pour batter in a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or till toothpick inserted, comes clean.
