¾ C. Creamy Peanut Butter
½ C. Crisco
1¼ C. Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
3 tbsp. Milk
1 tbsp. Vanilla
1 Egg
1¾ C. All Purpose Flour
¾ tsp. Salt
¾ tsp. Baking Soda

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 375ºF
2. Combine Peanut Butter, Crisco, Brown Sugar, Milk, and Vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Beat at meadum speed with elecric mixer until well blended.
3. Combine Flour, Salt, Baking Soda, and add to creamed mixture at low speed until just blended.
4. Drop by heaping tbsp. 2 inches apart on lined baking sheet. Flaten slightly with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
5. Bake at 375ºF for 7-8 miniutes until set and just begining to brown. Cool 2 miniutes on baking sheet before removing to cooling racks.
