2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 stick oleo
1/4 cup shortening
4 tbs cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/2 - 1 tsp vanilla
Frosting:
1 stick oleo
4 tbs cocoa
4 tbs buttermilk or 6 tbs milk
1 box powdered sugar (3 1/2 cups)
1/2 tsp vanilla
nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, flour and soda. Set aside. Bring oleo, shortening, cocoa and water almost to boiling point. Pour over dry ingredients. Beat buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Pour and beat with other ingredients. Bake in 400º oven for 20 minutes on a greased (12x18 inch) edged sheet pan. Frost while still warm. Heat frosting ingredients.
