Cake:

2 sticks of butter or margarine
4 Tablespoons of cocoa
1 cup water
2 cups of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 cups of flour
2 eggs
½ cup of buttermilk

Frosting:

4 Tablespoons of cocoa
6 Tablespoons of milk
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 # box of confectioner's sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Cake:

Grease well a 9x13" pan.
Bring to a boil 2 sticks of butter or margarine, cocoa, and water.
Pour over the sugar, baking soda, vanilla, flour, eggs, and buttermilk.
Mix well and spread into the greased pan.
Bake at 325º for 30 to 40 minutes.

Let cool.

Fudge frosting:

Bring the 4 Tablespoons of cocoa, milk and margarine or butter to a boil.
Add to the confectioner's sugar and vanilla.

Cover the cooled cake gently.
