4 (14½ oz) cans of chicken broth
1 1b. smoked Kielbasa sausage (sliced and cut into quarters)
1 lb. potatoes (about 4 medium, chopped)
1 (15½ oz.) can kidney beans (drained)
1 (14½ oz.) can diced tomatoes
½ medium head of cabbage (coarsely chopped)
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 carrots (diced)
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and gently simmer for ~ 1 hour.
