Dry Stage Ingredients
2 tsp baking powder
4c flour
2tsp baking soda
5c. blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend into a fine powder)
1tsp salt

Wet Stage Ingredients
2c softened butter
4 eggs
2tsp vanilla
2c brown sugar
2c sugar

Extra Stage Ingredients
24oz chocolate chips
1-8oz dark chocolate bar, grated
3c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dry stage ingredients.

In a large bowl, cream butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla, mix to combine.

In the large bowl with wet ingredients, fold in the dry stage ingredients until just combined.

Then add chocolate chips, grated chocolate bar and chopped nuts(optional).

Bake at 375º for about 10 minutes.

This recipe may be halved.
It is also too large for your standard electric mixer, so I combine everything by hand.
I use half milk chocolate and half dark chocolate chips.
If hand grating the chocolate bar, it helps to freeze it first.
