2 eggs
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 cups sour milk
4 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups broken walnuts

* make the sour milk by combining 2 Tablespoon of cider vinegar and 2 cups of milk after the milk has reached room temperature or can also use buttermilk

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients.
Grease and line bread pans with wax paper.
Pour batter into pans.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
Allow to cool, then remove.
*bread freezes well
