1/2 Cup Shortening (margarine or butter can be used )
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/3 Cup Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 1/2 Cup Sifted Flour
1/2 tsp. Cream of Tarter
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
14 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening, sugar egg, milk and vanilla
Gradually stir in dry ingredients
Roll out to 1/2 inch thick
Cut into shapes with cookie cutters

Bake on ungreased baking sheet @ 400 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes
