1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 1/4 sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp vanilla
Add
1/3 cup milk
2 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Press with fork to flatten. 400 degrees,
8 to 9 minutes

I found this recipe in my Aunt Elaine's cookbook. It had Phyllis
at the top. One of my memories of Aunt Phyllis is that she loved the Red Sox, did beautiful cross stitch and collected owls.
