1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 egg
½ tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder mixed with about 4 c. flour
½ tsp. baking soda stirred into 1 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Sprinkle with sugar.
Put a raisin in middle.
Bake at 375º. 10-12 minutes for 7 minutes.
