Ingredients for Cake:
2 cups flour
˝ tsp. salt
1 cup water
3 T. cocoa
˝ cup salad oil
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
˝ cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Ingredients for Buttermilk Sheet Cake Frosting:
1 stick margarine
2 T. cocoa
4 T. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Directions for Cake: Sift together flour, sugar, and salt. Mix and bring to a boil the water, cocoa, salad oil, and margarine. Add flour mixture to cocoa mixture and beat well. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Directions for Frosting: Bring the margarine, cocoa, and milk to a boil. Add the powdered sugar, then vanilla. Mix. Frost cake while warm.
