1 c. shortening, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. water, 2 eggs, 2 and 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt, 2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter, sugars, eggs, water, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Spoon in chips. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes on greased cooking sheets. Cool on rack.
