2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 cups grated carrots
1/2 - 1 cup chopped nuts
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/2 stick margarine
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1 lb powdered sugar

Directions:

Sift dry ingredients. Add sugar, oil and eggs. Mix well. Add carrots and nuts; blend well. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350º. Frosting: Combine first 3 ingredients. Gradually add powdered sugar; sprinkle chopped nuts over frosting. Cool cake before frosting.
