1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch salt
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup coconut
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1) Cream shortening, sugars, egg and vanilla together. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
2) Stir in by hand coconut, oatmeal, and nuts.
3) Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 350 degrees 10-12 minutes.

Makes about 3 dozen
