1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Beat butter and sugar in large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add flour, salt, baking powder and spices. Spread 3/4 batter into 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Cool slightly. Spread fruit filling on crust. Drop teaspoons of remaining batter over filling layer. Bake uncovered 30-40 minutes. Allow to cool 10 minutes. Mix together glaze ingredients and drizzle over. Cut into bars.

Note: Nana made a double recipe of this. She only had one can of pie filling on hand. To the cherry pie filling, she added half jar of peach mango jam and 1 jar seedless raspberry jam. Her friends raved!
