Directions: |
Directions:Combine ¼ c. lukewarm water with yeast and 1 tsp. sugar. Set aside until bubbly, about 5 minutes. Mix flour, salt and Italian seasoning. Then add oil. Stir yeast mixture into the flour mixture. Add water and mix until you can form a ball. Knead for a couple of minutes. Cover with clean dishtowel and let rise for at least 10 minutes. Spread onto 2 greased 14" pizza pans. Add sauce and your favorite toppings. Bake at 450 º for 10-15 minutes. or until desired crust forms. We've been baking at 500 º because we like a crispier crust. Adjust to your liking. |

Personal
Notes: Spent several years trying to come up with a good pizza crust. We always make at home because we live too far out for delivery. Jack found this on-line and I made a few adjustments. It's a great crust. We always sprinkle corn meal on the pizza pans after greasing them. Gives a nice texture to the bottom of the crust.
