½ c. butter, softened
½ c. peanut butter( I use crunchy)
¾ c. brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1¼ c. flour
½ tsp. salt
¾ c. old fashioned or quick oats

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla until creamy. Stir together flour and salt. Add oats. Then add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Shape to form 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. I sometimes dip the fork in white sugar prior to flattening. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes. Cool on rack until firm.
