1/2 c butter
2 c sugar
2 large eggs
2 c flour
1 t salt
2 t baking soda
2 t cinnamon
5 c peeled, chopped apples
1 c chopped nuts
4 T hot water
2 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs
Sift in flour, salt, baking soda and cinnammon
Add apples, nuts, water,and vanilla.
Mix by hand- batter will be stiff.
Bake in 3 loaf pans about 70 minutes at 350.
(freezes well)
