8 oz butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour

cream butter and sugar for 5 minutes at medium speed. Add eggs yolks and vanilla. mix till blended.
add flour and mix on low speed. pipe dough through pasty bag, using star tip, onto ungreased baking sheet, bake at 400 degrees for 7-10 minutes

rosette chocolate frosting:
2 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 c. margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. plus 2 tsp milk

after cookies have cooled, pipe a large rosette in center of cookie, let frosting set before storing.
