5 lbs pork shoulder or Boston butt roast
2 Tbsp white sugar
1½ tsp Famous Dave's Rib Rub
1 tsp season pepper
1 tsp season salt
2 Tbsp sage
½ tsp garlic powder

Gravy:
¾ cup McCormick brown gravy powder
3 cups broth from pan; leaving a little bit in with the roast (if not enough, use chicken broth or water)

Directions:
Directions:
Trim fat off pork roast. Pat with seasonings on all sides until gone. Bake @ 325º in ¼ inch of water in roast pan for approximately 3.5-4 hours. Check by putting fork in roast. Bone should come out easily​ when roast is done.

Gravy:
Put powder in pan and slowly add broth to desired thickness over medium-medium high heat until boiling. Stir constantly.
