1 1/2 c butter melted
2 c sugar
1/2 c molasses (dark)
2 beaten eggs
4 t baking soda
1 t salt
3 t cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
4 c flour
sugar in bowl
NEEDS: 2/3 c brown sugar

HAS TO CHILL.
Combine butter with sugar and molasses. Cool slightly. Add eggs, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stirring after each. Add flour in 1 c increments. Dough will be stiff. Cover at least 2 hrs or OVN. PREHEAT 350º. Roll chilled dough into walnut size ball. Put some sugar in bowl and roll. Place on greased sheet. Press them down just a little so won't roll. Bake 10-12 min. They will flatten. Cool 2 min and to rack. NEEDS TO FLATTEN WITH SUGAR ON GLASS CUP ALSO.
Can freeze well. Roll in foil and then freezer bag. Good for 3 months.
