1 c melted butter
1 c sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/3 c seedless strawberry jam
1 t strawberry ext (or vanilla)
1 t baking powder
12/ t soda
1/2 t salt
1 1/2 c chopped walnuts
3 c flour
Sm bowl conf sugar
1 bag frozen strawberries

Directions:

PREHEAT 375º.
Melt butter and mix in sugar. Then add eggs and jam. Add ext, powder, soda, and salt. Add walnuts and flour and mix well. Toll into walnut size (may need to chill), then roll in conf sugar and place on greased sheet. Make deep thumbprint in center and place partially frozen strawberry (1/4-1/2) on each. Bake 10-12 min. Dust with powdered sugar prior to serving.
Can use raspberry ext and fresh reaspberries if desired.
