1 1/2 c melted chocolate
1 c cocoa powder
2 1/2 c brown sugar
5 lg beaten eggs
4 t baking soda
1 t salt
2 t vanilla
1 c slivered almonds
6 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
PREHEAT 350º.
Melt butter and mix with cocoa, then add sugar. Let cool slightly, then stir in eggs. Add soda, salt, vanilla and almond. Stir Add flour gradually. Spray sheets with PAM. Divide dough into 5 parts, form each into 1" loaf and 7-8" long and 3-4" wide. Place 2 loaves on 1 sheet and 3 on another. Bake 35 min. Cool for 10 min and transfer to wire rack. Cool another 5 min. Slice 3/4" thick with sharp knife. Place slices on cut side on greased sheet for 5 min, flip and bake another 10 min. Cool 5 min and then place on rack. Can dip in milk chocolate chips and place on wax paper if desired. Great for dunking with chocolate like biscotti.
