1 1/2 c melted butter
2 c sugar
3/4 c mashed very ripe bananas (2 med or 3 sm)
4 t baking soda
1 t salt
2 beaten eggs
4 c flour
2 c finely chopped walnut or pecans
1/2 c sugar in bowl

HAS TO CHILL.
Stir butter, sugar, eggs, baking soda and salt. Mix. Add banana puree and mix. Then add flour and nuts and mix. Cover and refrig 4 hr or OVN. PREHEAT 350º. Roll to walnut size balls (may need gloves) and roll in sugar. Place on greased sheet. Press down slightly. Bake 10-12 min. Keep dough in refrig. They'll flatten out. Cool 2 min and to rack.

Freezes well for 3 months.
