1 1/2 c raisins
1 1/2 c water
3 1/2 c flour
1 t salt
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder

1 c butter softened
1 1/2 c sugar
3 eggs beaten
1 t vanilla
1/2 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
PREHEAT 350º.
Put raisin in water in uncovered saucepan. Simmer until all water absorbed. Cool for 30 min. In med bowl, combine flour, salt, soda, and powder. Set aside. Cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat. Blend in raisins and vanilla. Fold in flour mixture. Object to keep dough fluffy. Drop by t sin sugar and form balls. Place on greased sheet. Bake 9-10 min till lightly brown.
