2 c melted butter
4-1oz sq semi-sweet chocolate
2 c powdered sugar
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 t vanilla
1 t orange zest (opt)
1 t baking soda
1 t cream of tartar
1 t salt
4 1/2 c flour
1/2 c sugar

Directions:
PREHEAT 325º.
Melt butter and chocolate (3min in MW). Stir and put in lg mixing bowl. Add sugars. Stir. Cool Stir in eggs, then vanilla and zest, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Add flour gradually. Roll in 1" balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake 10-15 min. Cool 2 min then to wire rack.
