1 C shortening
2 C brown sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
3C sifted flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
¼ C milk
1C nuts - chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, salt, soda, nutmeg & vanilla well.
Gradually add brown sugar - firmly packed - cream well.
Add eggs - continue to beat.
Add flour & milk. Beat.
Stir in nuts.
Drop by tsp on greased sheet.
- 350 for 12 min.
Makes 7 dozen
