2-1/2 cups water
2 cups raisins
4 tsp baking soda
1 cup light Brown sugar
1 cup White sugar
1-1/2 cups Walnut Meats
4 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to full roiling boil
Take off stove and add raisins and baking soda


LET STAND OVERNIGHT.

Next day mix sugar & nuts
Add to raisin misture
Sift flour & salt & add also

Grease 3 (1 lb. Coffee Cans) Divide batter into cans. Bake 1 hr and 5 min. at 325 degrees

Let cool 15 min. Remove from can by knife
