2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup Crisco
2 eggs (beaten)
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate covered raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F
In a large bowl mix add the flour, salt and baking soda, whisk together.
Add the sugars, Crisco and butter and mix together at low speed.
Add the beaten eggs, one at a time. Mix until eggs are incorporated.
Fold in with a wooden spoon the chopped nuts, oatmeal and the chocolate covered raisins. Mix together.
Drop by Tbsp onto a parchment lined or greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13 - 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Allow to cool on cookie sheet for five to ten minutes. Then remove to a wire rack to finish cooling.
