1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar -Cream together
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup milk - 1egg -Beat in
2 tbsp orange juice

3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder -Sift together
1/4 tsp baking soda Combine with the above
1/2 tsp. salt and blend well

1 cup chopped nuts
2 1/2 cup coarsely chopped - Stir in
fresh cranberries

Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees F for 10-15 minutes

Makes about 12 doz. tea-sized cookies

NOTE: 1 tbsp orange extract may be substituted for orange juice. Milk must then be increased to 1/3 cup.
