2 lb. lean ground chuck
2 9 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 small package egg noodles
1 8 oz. cottage cheese
1 8 oz. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and salt to taste; remove from stove and drain. Pour in tomato sauce. Cook noodles until done; drain. Mix cheeses and sour cream together until blended. Add pepper and onion to cheese mixture. In a 3 quart casserole; layer noodles, cheese mixture, and meat, repeat, ending with meat. Bake, covered, in 350º oven for 30 minutes.

I grew up with the recipe. Grandma used to make very often. She also made it for big occasions, like church gatherings, big family gatherings, and to freeze for use later. It was a classic meal from my childhood. Enjoy!
