1 c. shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. white sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
3 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. water
1 tsp. cloves
1 can pumpkin




Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, water and pumpkin. Add spices, soda and powder. Add flour. Mix well. May add c. chopped nuts if desired.

Grease and sugar loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done.
