Ingredients:
1 1/2 Tbsp. instant yeast
1 3/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 Tbsp. salt
1/2 Tbsp. dough enhancer (if available)
1/2 Tbsp. gluten (if available)
1 egg
5 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Melt the butter and add all ingredients to the bowl. If you need to add a little more water because it looks too dry, add 1/2 Tbsp. at a time. You may add more flour if it is too sticky.

In a mixer with a dough hook, the dough should pull away from the bowl halfway up. If you are mixing by hand, stir until it holds together and turn out onto a floured or lightly oiled countertop. Knead for 8 minutes (with the mixer or by hand). Dough should be smooth and elastic, but not too dry.

Roll into about 30 walnut-sized balls and place into a greased baking pan with at least 2-inch tall sides. Bake for17 minutes in a 325-350 degree oven.

This dough makes delicious cinnamon rolls!

The baked dinner rolls freeze well.

You might want to experiment with letting them rise for an hour or so before baking.
